Darrell and Betsy Elliott
Darrell and Betsy Elliott both received a call to missionary service at an early age. They were married in 1997 and served as missionaries, church planters and pastors in Guatemala, Central America. While in Guatemala, they were blessed with the arrival of their daughter Sarah, who loves being a missionary kid. Darrell and Betsy's home church is Crossroads of Life Assembly of God in Duncanville, TX. They are now missionary candidates with Assemblies of God World Missions, on their way to Cuzco, Peru, where they will serve in the areas of church planting, evangelism and leadership training.
Betsy was born and raised as a missionary kid (MK) in Guatemala, among the Chortà indigenous people, descendants of the Maya. Betsy's parents were Wycliffe Bible Translators, having completed the New Testament translation in the Chortà language.
Darrell grew up in the North Texas District, where he graduated from Dallas Baptist University and Christ For the Nations Institute. He has served in various ministry positions, including overseas crusade coordinator for the Harvester's World Outreach.
Cuzco, Peru is the historic capital of the ancient Inca empire, near the famous ruins of Machu Picchu. This Spanish-speaking city is nestled in the Andes Mountains at nearly 11,000 feet, and is surrounded by millions of Quechua indigenous people, descendants of the Inca. With less than 1% Christians in the region, Darrell and Betsy are excited about working with Latin and indigenous people once again.
Please partner with the Elliotts to help reach the unreached people of Cuzco, Peru.
